Mer Telecom Peru to deploy a new Rural CDMA Network

Mer Telecom has been chosen by a Global Telecom Provider to deploy a full turnkey project for rural CDMA network deployment.

Despite the fact that this is the first project granted by the Global Telecom Provider to Mer Telecom Peru, it includes dozens of cell sites. The project will last throughout the year 2011 and will be approximately M 2,5 USD. Mer Telecom Peru will provide site acquisition services, sites design, provision of telecom towers, civil works for the sites, telecom equipment installation and logistics.

As a part of this project, Mer Telecom will also install alternative energy sources for the sites it provides. The sites will have a solar power system in addition to other energy sources.
