Mer group has been chosen by a global GSM operator to be the leading wireless infrastructure provider for its network.
Mer Group took up the challenge to deploy within a very short time dozens of both green-fields and roof tops sites simultaneously in urban and rural areas, to enable the operator launch the Network on time.
Mer Group laid the corner stone of the first BTS site of the GSM operator infrastructure and the launch of the Civil Works has been officially celebrated; Operator’s management, local authorities and Mer Group staff have attended the event.
Within a short notice, Mer Group has established an operational base in the country (Mer Telecom Rwanda), deployed among the rest experts including Country Manager, Project Manager, Engineers, Senior CW supervisors, Logistic teams in order to provide maximum efficiency from day one.
Mer Telecom Rwanda offers the operator with a deployment capacity of 20 sites per month which might be increased if needed.
Project scope of Works consists of deployment of dozens of turnkey sites including Site Survey, Site Design ,Design, Telecom Towers Manufacturing and provision, supply of site equipment (generators, shelters, AC, electricity, fencing…) and full site Civil Works Construction.
The Rwanda deployment is now the 5th country where this Operator chooses Mer Group as its infrastructure provider, a fact which demonstrates the high level of satisfaction of Mer performance.
